Sautéed asparagus takes on a rich and hearty flavour.



  1. snap off the dried ends of the asparagus

  2. heat olive oil or butter in a pan over a medium heat

  3. add the asparagus with a little knob of butter

  4. season with salt and pepper

  5. continue to cook until the spears are just tender
